Nothing here is refundable

A badge that never expired would print forever off a single purchase, and the emission curve would be the only thing standing between the token and zero. Burnout is what makes clipping in a decision rather than a subscription.

Stamina is stored in hours and fixed at issue. No upgrade extends it. A risk manager cuts what a badge consumes, a hot streak raises what it earns — neither buys it another hour on the floor.

What survives

The NVDA underneath

What a burned-out badge leaves behind is the tokenised NVDA that was paid for it, sitting in treasury and backing every badge still standing. The person is spent; the collateral is not.
